After a 6 weeks build process Newyd Marine has delivered a Pathfinder bare hull to its new customer. The boat is entirely assembled, including mahogany plywood transom and seat tops. The bottom is glass sheeted and features a mahogany plywood skeg. The centerboard, rudder are assembled, shaped and glass sheated, solid mahogany tiller and bowsprit shaped and supplied. The boat is ready for painting and rigging by its new owner!

Planking complete!

We are 20 days into the build and the hull planking is complete. The hull has been turned for glass sheeting and mounting the CNC cut mahogany keelson.

The long awaited CNC plywood kit for John Welsford's dnew design SCALLYWAG is finally available!

Great progress is reported by Greg on his Navigator build in Mallorca. Having received the kit in April this year Greg has now the boat almost entirely assembled; as a first time builder his build has progressed also thanks to the assembly aids built into the kit design: tongue and groove section, locating holes, puzzle oints, etc... Well done Greg!

Andrzej is doing a great job on his Long Steps build. having received the kit from Newyd Marine in july by october the main frame of the boat is already up and assembled! Building has now been paused due to the cold temperatures.

Our latest SCAMP kit (hull #851) is heading to its new customer and future builder in Ireland. The kit is completed with several mahoga,y plywoood components including keelsons, transoms, seat tops.

As the owner of the latest SCAMP kit we manufactured came to collect it at our premises, a three day epoxy crash course was offered by Newyd Marine. In the three day we assembled together a few components of the SCAMP, including the foils, centerboard case, keelsons and also a birdsmouth mast. The customer left with a complete kit, some assembled components and a much clearer view of the path ahead!

Our fist kit delivered across the Atlantic is a Long Steps kit travelling to the new builder in Vancouver BC. Shipping across the atlantic costs about 950€.

The Pathfinder proved once more to be the ideal boat design for cruising and exploring new sailing grounds in safety and comfort....
